Class Selectivity in Deeper Layers of Self Supervised ResNet

UROP project under PI Prof. Nancy Kanwisher and PhD student Bowen Zheng.
Investigated the phenomenon of class selectivity in deeper layers of self-supervised deep learning models (Konkle et al., 2024). Used ResNet-18 models trained with Momentum-Contrast (MoCo) on various training datasets to study the activation patterns of the model. Constructed t-maps to find selective units and their variation against model depth and training dataset perturbations.
